Power Factors is looking for a talented Salesforce System Administrator to join our team at our office in Brossard. The Salesforce System Administrator (SSA) is a key team member on our Strategic Business Process Engagements and is responsible for analyzing, designing and developing best practice business processes using the platform environment. The SSA is tasked with facilitating workshops and requirements sessions to gain an understanding of our customer's current state processes and technology in the enterprise asset management (EAMS) space, specifically related to the use of and currently operating within the AssetOptics SFDC application service environment.
The SSA works closely with the VP of Central Operations to map out a future state and technology roadmap for the implementation and support of our network operations center (NOC) service to the solar power industry
The SSA designs and deploys solutions that support customer business processes and requirements using the (sfdc) application development platform including 3rd party applications, such as the AssetOptics EAMS solution. The SSA has experience designing solutions using, CRM and can lead the implementation of these solutions within a customer organization.
  • Scoping and planning of and related projects
  • Strong understanding of the company and customer’s business processes
  • Ensure process is streamlined with 100% visibility and reporting to executive management team
  • Requirements gathering, documentation, project scoping, implementation, testing and deployment activities
  • Design/configure security model -- role hierarchy, security profiles and access rights
  • Create/manage complex workflow rules, data validation, data integrity support unit testing, integration testing and review of business training materials
  • Work independently & on multiple projects against deadlines in scope, on schedule, within budget
  • Management of the SFDC application, which includes maintaining functional day-to-day operations, upgrades, and 3rd party integrations
  • Serve as a point of contact for the company to provide maintenance, configuration, reporting and training
  • Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues and other SFDC setup options as necessary
  • Support and maintain the application environment and customer experience
  • Ensure the integrity of the data
  • Work with internal stakeholders (sales, engineering, and support) to ensure that the configuration supports business requirements. As required manage SFDC enhancement projects to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain integrations to 3rd party solutions.
  • Create reports in SFDC to meet operational requirements including maintaining a standard set of queries/reports to satisfy requirements; validate queries/reports created by others in the organization and assist in the interpretation of data
  • Test and QA of enhancements/changes to SFDC deployment using sandbox
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, computer science, database administration
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a system administrator

  • Self-managing; works unsupervised to deliver project assignments, in scope, on schedule
