MaxGen is looking for an energetic, customer-focused team member to support MaxGen’s Client Services group.  Experience with (a) solar/wind projects and (b) reading service contracts is preferred, but not required.  The primary objective of this role is to ensure MaxGen meets its contractual obligations (commercial and technical) and to act as the primary point of contact for multiple commercial customers.  This is a position that requires superb customer relations and project management skills.  The Client Services Analyst is expected to engage the appropriate cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure that customer projects, obligations, and objectives are met.  This position is based in Costa Mesa, California.
Job Responsibilities 

The following responsibilities are not limited to:
  • Become familiar with customer contract and statement of work requirements and follow up with internal resources to ensure that MaxGen is meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Manage the customer relationships for specific named accounts and work within MaxGen to ensure that we meet customer requirements. 
  • Manage the communication between MaxGen and specific assigned accounts to include incident notifications, incident investigations, scheduling and conducting status calls/meetings.
  • Spot check work order record keeping quality and provide appropriate feedback to MaxGen’s field operations organization.
  • Create dashboards and track progress of multiple customer projects, and participate in regularly scheduled customer meetings to report status.
  • Using established metrics and field operations work records, ensure that MaxGen is meeting the scopes of work in the contracts with named accounts.
  • Provide leads to the MaxGen Sales organization and support the sales effort to include draft contract review, pricing for proposals and review/draft contract statements of work.
  • Assist with developing regular business reviews and create presentations for strategic accounts and participate in business review meetings.
  • If appropriate, visit assigned accounts or project sites to observe the condition of the site and quality of work performed by MaxGen.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the application and use of MaxGen Energy Services’ work management systems, including the Salesforce applications.

Education and Experience
  •  1-3 years’ experience performing customer-facing duties, similar to those listed under responsibilities in this job description.
  • Experience working collaboratively with people and initiatives affecting multiple organizations.
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in a business, science, engineering, or other degree program that has a background including quantitative analysis.

Skills and Experience
Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Outstanding follow-through and ability to deliver on-time results within tight deadlines.
  • Project management skills
  • Working knowledge of solar, wind, battery storage design and operation (preferred).
  • Ability to learn to read and understand basic concepts in solar plant drawings and OEM manuals.
  • Ability to become familiar with typical service contracts.
  • Ability to work with different management styles and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and demanding clients
  • Ability to develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization and to influence positive outcomes.
  • Strong demonstrated leadership capabilities in a team environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn to use data base applications as they relate to the MaxGen Service operations and maintenance business.
  • Proficient within Microsoft environment: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written (English) communication skills.

 Working Environment
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Position requires working in both an office and field environment.
  • Routine operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Frequent oral and written communications
  • Working in field environment may require working in all elements (heat, cold, rain & snow).
  • May require accessing ladders, catwalks or other safe working platforms.
  • May require walking long distances on rough uneven terrain.
