SUMMARY
The Marketing Manager will play a key role to develop and execute a multitude of marketing programs - e.g. intelligence gathering, demand creation, corporate branding and sales enablement.  Candidates should have a passion for the clean energy industry, a love of marketing, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a high growth, fast-paced business environment.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and budgets
  • Manage and execute Marketing communications campaigns and activities to deliver against the objectives and ambitions of the Marketing strategy and plan
  • Formulate and implement Marketing activities and campaigns to support the achievement of revenue growth targets for all lines of business.
  • Drive customer acquisition in key segments, through targeted campaigns and events
  • Manage company brand/image across all divisions.
  • Manage public relations, create content and prepare press releases as needed.
  • Work with executives and sales team to coordinate tradeshows.
  • Build strategic relationships with key renewable energy industry analysts, press, bloggers, and other subject matter channels.
  • Develop marketing collateral and ensure the appropriate image and communication is consistent with strategic objectives,
  • Manage all communications necessary to successfully execute production of promotional materials on-time and within budget
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Research, maintain and report on marketing ROI; monitor budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
 
Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field required.
  • 5 plus year of direct experience working with multiple industries/clients.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and visual skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have advanced Excel and internet Skills.  SharePoint and Salesforce preferred.
 
Preferred:
  • Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.
  • Understanding of the US renewable energy and power markets, including regulated and unregulated utility programs designed to enhance adoption of wind, solar, and battery technologies
  • Expert understanding of the internet and social media strategies with a demonstrated track record on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media outlets to support company outreach.
