MaxGen Energy Services is looking for a talented Salesforce System Administrator to join our team at our office in Costa Mesa. The Salesforce System Administrator (SSA) is a key team member in our Information Technology department and is responsible for analyzing, designing and developing best practice business processes using the platform environment. The SSA is tasked with facilitating workshops and requirement sessions with end users to gain an understanding of the current state processes and technology and develop a future roadmap in the enterprise asset management (EAMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) space, specifically related to the use of and currently operating within the AssetOptics and FinancialForce applications.
The SSA works closely with the Director of Technology to map out a future state and technology roadmap for the implementation and support of the Salesforce platform.
The SSA designs and deploys solutions that support business processes and requirements using the (sfdc) application development platform including 3rd party applications, such as AssetOptics EAMS and FinancialForce ERP/PSA software applications. The SSA must have experience designing solutions using, CRM and can lead the implementation of these solutions. This position will be in our offices in Costa Mesa, CA.
  • Scoping and planning of and related projects
  • Strong understanding of the company’s business processes
  • Ensure process is streamlined with 100% visibility and reporting to executive management team
  • Requirements gathering, documentation, project scoping, implementation, testing and deployment activities
  • Design/configure security model -- role hierarchy, security profiles and access rights
  • Create/manage complex workflow rules, data validation, data integrity support unit testing, integration testing and review of business training materials
  • Work independently & on multiple projects against deadlines in scope, on schedule, within budget
  • Management of the SFDC application, which includes maintaining functional day-to-day operations, upgrades, and 3rd party integrations
  • Serve as a point of contact for the company to provide maintenance, configuration, reporting and training
  • Manage security, users, roles, profiles, groups, queues and other SFDC setup options as necessary
  • Support and maintain the application environment and customer experience
  • Ensure the integrity of the data
  • Work with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, and accounting) to ensure that the configuration supports business requirements. As required manage SFDC enhancement projects to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain integrations to 3rd party solutions.
  • Create reports in SFDC to meet operational requirements including maintaining a standard set of queries/reports to satisfy requirements; validate queries/reports created by others in the organization and assist in the interpretation of data
  • Test and QA of enhancements/changes to SFDC deployment using Salesforce sandbox environments
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration, computer science, database administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a system administrator

  • Certified Developer
  • Maintain certifications annually
