SUMMARY

The Planner Scheduler position ensures all maintenance activities are coordinated, scheduled and executed to meet contract requirements. Efficiently and effectively deploys resources to improve Power Plant Technician productivity, eliminate waste, and lower subcontractor costs. Utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to develop job plans for repair activities and assign work to the appropriate field technician or subcontractor. Ensures materials and tools are available, appropriate parts and skill level are identified , SOW is adequate to identify all task for accomplishment of the work and safety requirements are identified prior to work commencing. Works closely with the Director, Planning & Scheduling, Regional Managers, Site Managers, Site Personnel, Monitoring Center, and subcontractors to coordinate maintenance/service activities at power Plant sites across the nation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The following responsibilities are not limited to:
  • Efficiently and effectively schedule Power Plant Field Technicians and Subcontractors nationwide to perform general, preventative, and corrective maintenance.
  • Manage short and long term service schedules and be able to report schedules on a weekly basis
  • Works closely with the Director of Planning , Reginal/Site Managers, Site Field Technicians, Monitoring Center, and subcontractors to coordinate maintenance/service activities at Solar Power Plant sites
  • Ensures material and tools are available, appropriate parts and skill level is identified, SOW is adequate to identify all tasks for accomplishment of the work.
  • Utilizes the CMMS system to develop job plans for repair activities and assign work to the appropriate technician or subcontractor.
  • Ensure CMMS service information, tech/subcontractor time, material usages, etc. is complete and accurately recorded for each service work order.
  • Ensure corrective maintenance is identified from reports and CMMS input from field, Client authorizes work, work order created and scheduled, and quality report is submitted to clients when work has been completed
  • Coordinated all outages with the MaxGen Monitoring Center to ensure proper notification is given to the transmission and utility entities within the required time frame and that confirmation has been received to proceed with the work as scheduled.
  • Coordinate activities with other area of the department such as the DG Field Service group to ensure full utilization of resources.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
  • Requirements (2) year degree and or multiple years of Power Plant Maintenance Planning & Scheduling or related experience. 
Preferred:
  • Experience in Planning/Scheduling or maintaining utility scale Solar Power plants

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Experience with CMMS such as Maximo, Salesforce Based, etc.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Up to 15% of travel
  • Available to work nights and weekends when needed
  • Ability to pass a background check and Drug screen.
