We are currently seeking an experienced Laborer to help perform commercial concrete/electrical work at commercial sites throughout Northern California to join MaxGen as a member of our growing Electric Vehicle and Storage division. MaxGen will develop sites and install Electric Vehicle Charging and Battery Energy Storage System infrastructure to support the rapid public adoption of these new technologies. We are extremely passionate in our pursuit to help facilitate the growth of renewable technology and are looking for like minded team players to help us achieve those goals.

General understanding of concrete construction including plan reading, layout, design, form settings, concrete finishing. The successful candidate needs to have a general understanding of all facets of concrete construction (commercial, residential and decorative concrete.)


The successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • Ability to work in extreme hot and cold environment
  • Must be comfortable working around high voltages and currents.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work standing for long periods of time on hard surfaces.
  • Work with key customer contacts and MaxGen management to identify efficient service related processes.
  • Build and maintain critical relationships.
  • Demonstrate constant focus on and investment in building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts within customer’s organization that are based upon trust and a respect for the value of services being provided
  • Must be able to solve problems and drive issues to resolution.
  • Travel to job sites - Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to travel to job sites.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts/weekends and nights as needed.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have a variety of other construction skill sets including but not limited to masonry, carpentry, drywall, and painting.

Final Candidate offered this position will be required to complete a criminal back ground check and a 10 panel drug screen through a private test lab.

Position requires lifting, standing, bending, squatting, sitting, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
